Psychedelic Collections & Codices

This event has passed.

Memorial Library, Room 126, 728 State St, Madison, WI 53703
@ 12:00 pm

This workshop focuses on libraries, collections, and specific documents related to psychedelic history and society. One goal is to shine a spotlight on the humanities and particularly how we collect, organize, appraise, and use historical written materials/objects in developing new knowledge. Another goal is to assess how we do this in an ethical way, and how work in libraries, archives, museums, and other heritage sector spaces contributes to the so-called “psychedelic renaissance.”

The pre-Psychedelic Symposium workshop is sponsored by various units and groups, and we have to thank them for their support. Registration is required, and can be done here. There is a 60-person limit for the event
