About the Building
Originally opened in 1965, the Central Branch of the Madison Public Library went through a $30 million renovation and reopened in 2013. This central branch is a hub of activity with showcase programs like The Bubbler, incorporating elements of the “maker” movement which spread from the library downtown into the branch public libraries.
